She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Cooper and Ruby Cooper (Ward); her husband Roy Lee Boswell; her son Roy Lee Louis Boswell; and her brothers, Henry, Tony, Richard and Louie Cooper.
She is survived by: her children, Violet Ann Carver, John L. Henry Boswell, James Leon Stacey Boswell and Ruby Bernetta Elmer Boswell; and her siblings, John Cooper, Leonard Cooper, Violet Lee, Dorothy Hession, Frankie Carol, Charlotte Beadel, Phebe Hill and Linda Martin. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
