He is survived by: his wife Darla Phillips of Daingerfield; his children, Crystal Bailey (John) of Daingerfield and James C. Phillips, Jr. of Daingerfield; and his grandchildren, Justin Bailey, Jaycee Bailey, Jenna Bailey and James Douglas Phillips. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
