She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Dee and Lillie Mae Walker; her husband Waylon Sloan; and her siblings, Jake Walker, James Walker, Ollie Mae Jones and LaVerne Falls.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Helms (Angie), Terri Simpler, Penny Banks (Joe Dan) and Kathy Mitchell (Bobby); her brother Welton "Dude" Walker (Carolyn); and her siblings-in-law, Helen Walker, Virginia Toland, Rose Meadow (Mickey) and Nathan Sloan (Maria). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
