He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Bert Finley and Selester Jane "Janie" Finley; his sister Grace Finley Hepstall; his brother-in-law George Huckabee; and his son-in-law Gerald Winegardner.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Cecille Deason Finley; his children, Cindy Finley Johnstone, Richard, Susan Finley Winegardner, Sonja Finley Thibodeaux, Rickey, Greg Finley, Tori and Gary Finley; his grandchildren, Enoch Johnstone, Lydia Johnstone, SamuelJohnstone, Miriam Johnstone, Tabitha Johnstone, PhilipJohnstone, Abel Johnstone, Amy Winegardner Cox (Matt), Cody Thibodeaux, Will Finley, Trinity Finley and Christian Finley; his great grandchild Amy; and his sister Lucy Grey Huckabee.
