He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud C. Hartgrove and Cora B. Rowe Hartgrove; his wife Wanda Hartgrove; and his brothers, Rudolph Hartgrove and Dan Hartgrove (Mary Jo).
He is survived by: his son Shane Hartgrove (Stephanie) of Daingerfield; his grandchildren, Keagan Hartgrove (Hope Mantooth) of Daingerfield and Morgan Derrick (Dillan) of Naples; and his great grandchildren, Carter and Payden Derrick of Naples. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
