He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Hargiss and Eddie Hargiss; his son Eddie Richardson; and his brothers, Jack and Robert Hargiss.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hargiss of Daingerfield; his children, Terry Richardson (Madeleine) of Aledo and Teresa Cato (Tim) of Daingerfield; and his grandchildren, Joshua Cato (Brandi), Stephanie Van Houtan (Nate), Shelly Wrinkle (Brian), Kimberly Husmann (Jordan) and Leslie Richardson. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
