He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Allen and Myrtle Stevens Allen; and his brother Alton Gilmore. He is survived by: his wife Mary Allen of Daingerfield; his sons, Bryan Allen (Regina) of Greenville and Jeffery Allen (Jennifer) of Wake Village; and his grandchildren, Micah Allen, Cameron Allen, Katie Allen, Lindy Allen, Judson Allen, Jentry Allen, Jacob "Solly" Allen and Camden McBride.
