She was predeceased by: her parents, Orbie Bush and Katie Bush; and her husband Winford Nix. She is survived by: her daughter Teresa; her son-in-law Sid Sampson of Farmers Branch; her son Craig; her daughter-in-law Kouri Nix of Daingerfield; her granddaughter Karley Nix of Daingerfield; and her close friends, Jeannie Broughton and Judy Pollan.
