He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Kelly II and Marie Burke Kelly; and his siblings, Paul Kelly, Arlene Backus and Regina Kelly.

He is survived by: his wife Pauline V. Kelly; his children, Theresa Mendoza (Ernest), Eileen Jones, Billy Kelly (Lisa) and Carolyn Mikel (Patrick); his stepsons, Donny Henderson (Ruth), Gene Henderson and Eddie Paul Henderson (Christine); and his grandchildren, Loyal, Kristin, Josh, Rachael, Aaron, Hannah, Maddy, Emily, Sam, Kate, Gracie, Abigail, Jake, John, Kallie, Eddie, Melinda and Evan. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
