He is survived by: his wife Robin; his brothers, Robert Schaefer (Susan) of Firestone and Bradly Schaefer of Pasadena; his sister-in-law Helene Schaefer (Charles) of New Jersey; his children, Christopher Schaefer (Elizabeth) of Baytown, Matthew Schaefer, Sr. of Pasadena, Cori Gianni of Magnolia and Elizabeth Crump (Steven) of Deer Park, Texas; his grandchildren, Matthew Jr., Kaelyn, Victoria, Madison, Deija, Alexis, Meagan, Christian, Ryland, Mayson and Wyatt; and his great grandchild Asher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
