It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Allison Colson of Cypress, Texas, born in Bryan, Texas, who passed away on July 10, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Barry Davis Colson and Winnie Clary Colson; and his sister Sarita. He is survived by: his wife Carole Black Colson; his sisters, Barrie Davis of Thomaston and Zan Colson Brown of Deer Park; his daughters, Stacey Scott (Troy Scott) of Milford, Sherri Nelson (David Nelson) of Cypress and Tammy Miller (Doug Miller) of Stafford; and his grandchildren, Ashley Lyn Sandman (Arnold), Brittani Lerick (Luke), Tyler Scott (Mindy), Christopher Nelson (Frankie), Madison Wigley, Matthew Nelson, Jonathon Wigley, Alyssa Handleton (Evan) and Bradley Nelson. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service to begin at 11:00 a. m. Due to COVID-19 the service will be live streamed on Facebook by Good Shephard United Methodist Church for those who are unable to travel or attend the service.
