He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John C. Mathews and Mary C. Mathews (Nibert); his sons, Thomas Keith (Tonya) and John Carlos; his grandson Jett; his wife Carlene Mathews (Kerr); and his grandchildren, Shelby and Pierce. He was also cherished by nephews, nieces, and other family members.
