With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steve Blackmon of Cypress, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on June 18, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Steve may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Steve touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Margaret Marsh Blackmon and W. C. Blackmon; and his siblings, Dorothy Marie Johnson and Butch Blackmon. He is survived by: his wife Sue Ellen Blackmon of Cypress; his children, Shelbi Marie Blackmon of Houston and Clint Blackmon of Cypress; and his grandchildren, Stephen Allen Blackmon and Gracelyn Marie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other living relatives and friends.
