With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert G. Irwin Sr. of Cypress, Texas, born in Dallas, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 21, 2024 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otha Irwin and Tholie Irwin; his siblings, Geneieve Kjellander, Otha Irwin Jr., Stephen Irwin and Amanda Irwin (Minnie); and his son Robert Irwin Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Minnie Lou Cooper; his daughter Penny Irwin; his grandchildren, Paige Richter (Dakota), Peighton Irwin, Sydney Fitt and James "Trey" Fitt; his great grandchild Lincoln Richter; and his siblings, LaRie Hamilton, Marie LeMoine, Nelda Mays and Andrew Irwin.
