She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Sturgill and Gertrude R. Sturgill; and her siblings, Patrick C. Sturgill and Rebecca Barrett Karlsen. She is survived by: her great-niece Elysce; her great-nephews, Devin and Jayce; her brother John Michael (Linda); and her nieces and nephews, Jeremy (Liz), Joshua (Valerie), Garrett (Christin), David, Adam, Erin (KJ), Chrissie, Katie and Melissa. She is also survived by grandparents, aunts and uncles, and older cousins who assisted the two siblings.
