He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Glenn Nelson and Paula Nelson (Burke); his wife Joy Nelson; his children, Lauren Nelson Burow, John Daniel Nelson (Julie) and Amanda Nelson Troy (Jacob); his grandchildren, Madison Vice, Jackson Vice, Avery Nelson, Sarah Nelson and Katie Nelson; his sisters, Cheryl Anderson (Andy) and Janet Richards (Ray); his niece Ashley Faulkner (Brian); and his nephew Rhett Johnson (Jessica). He was also cherished by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
