He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Miles Dougherty and Mary Ceiph Dougherty; and his siblings, Jake and Jane. He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Sue "Susie" McCord and Larry Don Dougherty; and his children, Stephanie Quisenberry (Sammy Quisenberry), Spencer, Ellie, Julie Parra (Lance Parra), Ryan, Danielle and Caroline.
