He was predeceased by: his son Brian Ward; his parents, Jefford Loren and Carrol Loren; and his brother Norman "Joe" Loren. He is survived by: his wife Betty Loren; his children, Leanne Loren (Joe), Sandra Nygaard (Scott), Mary Dawn Lowrey (Paul) and Scott Ward (Jodie); his grandchildren, Kelsie Hughes (Gary), Marissa Hormann, Jocelyn Wekewa (Jordan), Brian Lowrey, Skylar Ward, Barrett Lowrey and Kofi Boateng, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Garret Hughes, Tanner Hughes and Malcolm Wekewa.
