He is survived by: his wife Leslie Burrer Mickelis; his children, Harry George "Scooter" Mickelis, Jason George Mickelis and Katherine Diane Mickelis; his mother Evelyn "Evdokia" Mickelis of Patmos, Greece; his sisters, Irene Zambetakis of Patmos and Eva Evaggelou (George) of Patmos, Greece; his niece Evie Zambetakis (Antonis Polemitis); his great-nephew Andreas Polemitis of Cyprus; his niece Anastasia Evaggelou; his nephew Manolis Evaggelou Patmos; his cousins, Patty Magoulas, Angelo, Christy Magoulas, Tasso, Theresa Magoulas, George Nick Mickelis, Angela Mickelis, Elizabeth Varvaris, Vicky Varvaris, Irene Varvaris and Manny Varvaris; his mother-in-law Nita Burrer; and his siblings-in-law, Todd, Amy Burrer, Paul, Wendy Burrer, Erich, Angela Burrer, Karl, Karla Burrer, Ryan and Kelsie Burrer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
