She was predeceased by: her parents, Daisy Howard and V. L. Tootle Howard; and her sister Nettie Lou Wilson. She is survived by: her husband Robert Madeira; and her children, Carson Hartlage (Cindy), Robin McQueen (Gary), Mike Hartlage, Cindy Salch (Mike), Chris Madeira (Judy) and Lisa Jacobs. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
She was a patron of the Texas Ranger Association Foundation and was a life member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
