He was predeceased by: his mother Catherine Allus Surbrook; his son Mark Christopher Surbrook; his brother Robert "Bob" Surbrook; his sister-in-law Marion Surbrook; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Surbrook; and his former wife Diane Dyer.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo; his children, Scott David Surbrook (Tina) and Catherine Grace Cooke (Chris); his stepdaughters, Melissa Miller (Russell), Nicole Roberts and Michelle Vicary (Brent); his grandchildren, Scott Jr., Amanda Surbrook, Mark, Vinessa Cooke, Connor Cooke, Brett Miller, Kristen (Miller), Ryan Johnson, Ashlyn Vicary, Taylor Vicary, Caden Roberts and Jaxson Roberts; his great grandchildren, Scott Surbrook III, Carson Cooke and Olivia Cooke; his brother Steven; and his siblings-in-law, Lisa Surbrook and Pete Altimore Jr. (Norma). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
