He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nikita Mayes; his children, Jayla, David Murray Jr., Serenity and Serayah Mayes; his parents, David Williams and Cassandra Mayes; his siblings, Craig Cameron, Shauna Mayes-Punch (Joseph), Chantelle Williams, Christina Mayes-Lewis (Brandon), Katrina Mayes and Javis Williams; and his aunts and uncles, Charlie Mayes, Jr. (Lillie), John Mayes, Eric Mayes Sr. (Jhani), Pearce Williams (Lula), Chalotte Mayes Jones (Albert), Charletha Ruth Mayes Baker (Tony), Irma Mayes "Tina" Mayes, Luretha Adams (Melvin), Ella Brouchet (Thermon), Dorothy Thomas, Janet Henry, Betty Carter (Carl), Veronica Smith (Bobby) and Lucinda Fletcher (Ray). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Visitation Service for Mr. Mayes will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p. m., and on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 10:30 a. m. until 12:30 p. m. at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel with the practice of social distancing and Facial Mask required.
