She was predeceased by: her parents, Norris Vandevoorde and Caroline Vandevoorde (Weisenberg); her husband John Cody, Sr.; and her sister Mary Hammill. She is survived by: her sons, John Jr., Kevin and Brian; and her grandchildren, Cedric, Ian, Juliette, Kevin N., Elsa and Jonah. She is also survived by her three sons, six grandchildren, and countless nieces and nephews.
