She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Sutton and Emma McGee. She is survived by: her sister Joann Byler; her husband Lawrence Vela; and her brother Allen Ray Sutton. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel (1101 Antoine Dr, Houston, TX 77055). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
