It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lee Polk of Cushing, Texas, born in Rusk, Texas, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John I Polk and Ida Mae Polk (Harris); his wife Mary Lois Polk; his sons, Baby Boy Polk, Larry Polk and Johnny Polk; his siblings, Thurman "Pete" Polk, Franklin "Blue" Polk of Lacy, R. E. "Gaul" Polk, Luther "Head" Polk and Earlene "Sook" Scott; and his granddaughter Yolanda Fulce.
He is survived by: his great grandchild Nykashia Polk; and his children, Harold Polk Sr. (Pearl) and Ruthie Thompson of Cushing. He is also survived by eleven Grandchildren, thirty Great Grandchildren, thirteen Great, Great, Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
