It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester Nichols (Cushing, Texas), who passed away on December 5, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nichols of Washington and Elsie Whitaker Nichols; his sisters, Mary Adelle, Holly Bernice (Ephraim Blackburn) and Helene Johnston (Johnny); his sister-in-law Vera Nichols; his nephews, Lowell Blackburn and Nicky Nichols; and his grandson Christopher Nichols.
He is survived by: his children, Patti Nichols of Cushing, Nita (Mark Hyatt), Forest Ray Nichols of Nacogdoches and Christopher Allen (Allison Nichols); his brother Herbert Nichols of Lilbert, Texas; his grandchildren, Dawn (Shane Johnson), Amanda, James West, Jennifer, Kyle McGlothlin, Joshua (Jill Hyatt), Laura Kathyrn (Bryan Page), Ryan Nichols, Lyndon Nichols (Ashlee), Lathan Nichols and Addyson Nichols; his great grandchildren, Patrick, Emma Johnson, Kaden, Sydney McGlothlin, Isabelle, Luke Hyatt, George, Penny Cruz, Jhonen and Coraline West; and his significant other Dakota.
