She was predeceased by: her parents, Joiner Dover and Bessie Land Dover; her husband Marlon Duane Whitaker; her son Roger; and her siblings, Leldon of Feldon, AC, JC, Odell Hester, Nadine Partlow and Fay Few.
She is survived by: her sons, Rodney Whitaker of Lilbert Tx, Richard Whitaker (Kellie) and Brent Whitaker of Austin Tx; her brother Larry Dover of Alto Tx; her grandchildren, Rodney Whitaker Jr., Rusty Whitaker, Rance Whitaker and Rilea Whitaker Sanders; and her great grandchildren, Madalyn, Katelyn, Rhett, Taylor, Braxton and Ryson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Dovie's name to Lilbert Baptist Church or to Lilbert Looneyville VFD. You may make a donation pledge via our website.
