She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle VanNorman and Mary VanNorman; her husband Robert "Bob" Vinson; her grandchildren, Chance Penland and Tiffany Ash; and her sister Carolyn Webster.
She is survived by: her children, David Penland of Cumby, Dana "Sissy" Evans of San Antonio and Kelly Hobbs (Monroe) of Yorktown; her grandchildren, Chris Lay of Lafayette, Caleb Penland (Lauren) of Cumby, Tristan Penland of Greenville, Monroe, Marshal and Oliva Hobbs of Victoria; and her sisters, Diane Schuyler (Don) of Cumby and Marilyn Werner (Dennis) of Plano. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
