It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Briggs of Cumby, Texas, born in Sulphur Springs, Texas, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Buster Tipps and Faye Tipps (Wren); and her husband Jimmy Briggs. She is survived by: her daughter Misty Smallwood (Undray) of Emory, Texas; her granddaughters, Sky Smallwood of Emory and Kinslei Smallwood of Sulphur Springs, Texas; and her brothers, Stevie Tipps (Cheri) of Miller Grove and Monty Tipps (Venessa) of Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the County Line Baptist Church - Miller Grove (497 Farm Rd 275 S, Cumby, TX 75433). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the County Line Baptist Church (497 Farm Rd 275 S, Cumby, TX 75433). A burial was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Miller Grove Cemetery (7819 FM 275, Cumby, TX 75433).
