He is survived by: his children, Yvonne Gardner-Strait of Cuero, Gwendolyn Monroe (Randy) of Pflugerville, TX, Tommie Williams (Edwin) of Round Rock, TX, Angela Dowell (James) of Pflugerville, TX, Jerald Thomas of Pflugerville, TX, Ervin Thomas (Tia) of Katy, TX and Marlin Thomas (Tameka) of Manor, TX; his siblings, Lucy Wimbish (David) and Javance Thomas of Cuero; his siblings-in-law, Angelene Campbell of Cuero and Robert Gardner of Yoakum; and his grandchildren, Cedric Strait, Patrick Cates, Rachell Cates, Chanel Cates, Paige Monroe, Destiny Williams, Gabrielle Williams, Morgan Thomas, Evin Thomas, Ryan Thomas, Braylon Thomas and Zane Thomas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins extended family and friends.
