It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Dewayne Scott (Cuero, Texas), born in Uvalde, Texas, who passed away on May 18, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Tom Scott; his stepfather Wesley C. Brunett; his mother Annie Malone Scott Brunett; and his brother James Erwin Scott. He is survived by: his friend Gampy; his grandchildren, DeWayne, T. D., Wesley and Annie Scott Brunett; his wife June Yvonne Holtermann Scott; his daughters, Sandra Dawn (John Nigh) of Fredericksburg and Sheryl DeAnn (Robbie Thompson) of Lufkin; his grandchildren, Lindsey Morgan Nigh (Laramie Welch), Jordan Scott Thompson and Peyton Elizabeth Thompson; his great grandchild Luke Jackson Welch; his siblings-in-law, Cynthia Bynum (James), John and Pat Holtermann; and his niece Shannon Adams.
