She was predeceased by: her parents, Ubaldo Palacios and Ester Rodriguez Palacios; her husband Jose Eric Peña; and her daughters-in-law, Gloria Peña and Janie Peña.
She is survived by: her children, Anna R. Sanchez (Edward) of Victoria, Louis A. Peña of Curns, Gustavo Peña (Cindy) of Rowlett and Eric U. Peña (Araceli "Shelly") of Cuero; and her siblings, Angelica P. Morales of Laredo, Heriberto Palacios (Beto) of Reynosa, Cesar Palacios and Mexico. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
