It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sam Walter Simpson of Cuero, Texas, born in Pleasanton, Texas, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Walter and Jane Lillian Moore Simpson; his siblings, Bufford Addington, Joseph Simpson, Edith Stevenson, Jeralene Addington, Ola Addington and Ruby Addington; and his daughters, Audrey Kathleen Stanfill and Suzan Joan Simpson.
He is survived by: his daughter Suzie; his wife Audrey Nell Simpson; his children, Julie Maxine McMichael (E. J.) of Victoria and John Walter Simpson (Rose) of Cuero; and his son-in-law Neal Alan Stanfill of Cuero. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be given to the American Cancer Society.
