He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Eakin and Drewsiller Bolton Eakin; his wife Faye Marie; his son-in-law O'Dell Taylor; and his siblings, Martha Langridge and Alvin Jo Eakin.
He is survived by: his children, Norma Cochran (Ray), Sandra Taylor, Anna Caraway (Gary "Butch"), Johnny Eakin and Allen Eakin; and his sister Ann Langridge (Bobby). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
