He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus Douglas Wood and Marye Frances Wilkinson Wood; his sister Elena Wood; and his wife Mary Frances Hessong Wood. He is survived by: his children, Robin Wood (Scott Wade) and Robert Wood II (Wendy); and his grandchildren, Benjamin Wood (Shenell), Marley Wade and Rachel Miller (Robert).
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Freund Funeral Home (213 N Gonzales St, Cuero, TX 77954). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cuero Lions Club or an organization of the donor's choosing.
