He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Tarver Johnson and Phil Johnson Sr. Phil; and his sister Evelyn Sue Lang. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Johnson of Stratton; his daughters, Carey Ferris (David) of Kerrville and Missi Risinger (Rick) of Vernon; and his grandchildren, Justin Tenery (Katie) of Kerrville, Tamara Yarbrough (Jaiman) of Kerrville, Angie Bourland of Lubbock, Cody Risinger of Altus, OK, Willem Ferris of Austin and David Reed Ferris of Kerrville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Primitive Baptist Church.
