She was predeceased by: her parents, Canuto Ruiz and Modesta Alvarado Ruiz; her husband Pete V. Rodriguez Sr.; her daughter Ida Varela; and her siblings, Micheala Quintanilla, Lucio, Pefanio, Hilario and Jesus Ruiz.
She is survived by: her sons, Pete V. Rodriguez Jr. (Yolanda) of Stafford, Michael A. Rodriguez (Stephanie) of Cuero and Jesse Rodriguez of Cuero; her grandchildren, Isacc West, Michael "Chito" Varela, Michael Rodriguez Jr., Jacob, Aran, Trey, Braden, Amari, Jessiah, Nehemiah and Azariah Rodriguez; and her great grandchildren, Faith, Cameron, Caysen Rodriguez, Issac and Makai Varela. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
