She was predeceased by: her parents, Santiago Guzman and Guadalupe Guzman; and her husband David Randall Simmons. She is survived by: her children, Cassandra G. Ybarra of Spring, Benjamin J. Guzman of Whiting, IA and Randall R. Guzman of Cuero; her siblings, Patricia Villa of Cuero, Elizabeth Guzman of Cuero, Martha Frederick of Leander and Santiago "Jim" Guzman of South Houston; and her grandchildren, Anthony Ybarra, Victoria Ybarra, Brayden Guzman, Aaria Guzman and Elena Guzman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
