It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Antonia Ruiz of Cuero, Texas, born in Corpus Christi, Texas, who passed away on June 4, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Trevino and Irene Trevino; her husband Pilar H. Ruiz Jr.; her daughter Cynthia Ruiz; and her grandson Ethan Andrew Volz.

She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Volz of Corpus Christi, Eunice Ruiz of Round Rock, Carolina Cerny of Shiner, Rose Lantz of Corpus Christi and Pilar T. Ruiz, III. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
