Jose Tijerina Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Tijerina of Cuero, Texas, who passed away on February 1, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Teofilo Tijerina and Sarah Tijerina; and his sister Lydia Buenteo. He is survived by: his wife Elenora (Sita); his children, Viviana (Roy) of San Antonio and Rico Tijerina of Cuero; his grandson Jason Varela of San Antonio; and his siblings-in-law, Raymond Buenteo of Houston and Gloria Sims of Shiner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the family will have a rosary and mass at a later date. Social Distancing and mask wearing is mandatory.
