He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasqual Salazar and Victoria Mireles Salazar; his daughter Gilda Herrera; and his grandson Gustavo Alejandro Herrera. He is survived by: his daughter Gloria Ann (Ken Hodge) of Durant, OK; his wife Lupe; his son Johnny Ray (Diana Salazar) of Magnolia, TX; his son-in-law José Gustavo Herrera of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Liberty Alexia Tellez, Alexis Monique Herrera, Victoria Rae Salazar, Angela Renee Salazar, Amanda Dawn Dubowski and Zachary John Herrera; and his great grandchildren, Alexia Tellez, José Luis Tellez and Madison Tellez. He is also survived by his family, including his grand-children and great-grandchildren.
