It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Mathis (Cuero, Texas), who passed away on December 24, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Mathis and Dolores Mathis. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Mathis; his children, Ervin Lewis (Denise), Rodney Mathis (Annette), Byron Mathis (Tammy), Coretta Hadley (Sidney) and Sabrina Mathis (Johonn); and his sisters, Marjorie Robinson and Joann Mathis. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
