He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Bramlette of Cuero; his children, Avis Lynn "Lynnie" Jalufka (Gabe) of Goldthwaite, Amanda Rose Rickman (Clayton) of Cuero, Alexis Ann Cooper (Justin) of Cuero and Lovel A. "Buck" Blain IV of Cuero; his sister Lou Mitchell "Lucy" Egg; his grandchildren, Avis Gabrielle Montgomery (Matthew), David Jalufka of Utah, Rancher DeWitt Jalufka, Hunton Callon Rickman, Cash Cleo Cooper, Hope Ann Cooper, Grace Ann Cooper, Justin Braylon Blain and Alexandra Jessica Blain; and his great grandchild Judah William Montgomery.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Freund Funeral Home (213 N Gonzales St, Cuero, TX 77954). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
