She was predeceased by: her sons, Alvin Ford and Clayton Ford Jr.; and her siblings, Zadie Bacon, Katie Mae Chappal, Charles Chapman, Oscar Chapman and Roger Chapman.
She is survived by: her husband August E. Hammon of Cuero; and her children, Carolyn Cooper (Lawrence) of Victoria and David Chapman (Pam) of Manor. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters.
