He is survived by: his wife Candice Taylor-Mensah (Blackwell); his brother Richard Blackwell (Cecelia); his children, Sherece Blackwell-Godsey (Eric), Felicia Clay (Blackwell), Benjamin Blackwell (JoAnna) and Sedalia Brown (Jessie); and his stepson Christopher Mensah. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, niece and nephews, cousins, and friends.
