It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Audrey Nell Simpson of Cuero, Texas, born in Pandora, Texas, who passed away on April 29, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Colbert and Esta Mae Griffin West; her husband Sam Walter Simpson; her daughters, Audrey Kathleen Stanfill and Suzan Joan Simpson; her grandson Earl John McMichael IV; and her brothers, Joe Mack and John Colbert West.
She is survived by: her children, Suzie, Julie Maxine McMichael (E. J.) of Victoria and John Walter Simpson (Rose) of Cuero; and her son-in-law Neal Alan Stanfill of Cuero. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of South Texas.
