She was predeceased by: her parents, Urbano Hinojosa and Hermila Flores Hinojosa; her husband Jesus Mata, Jr.; her sons, Adolfo Mata and David Mata; and her siblings, Leandro Hinojosa, Hector Hinojosa, Raul Hinojosa, Sr., Dagoberto 'Beto Hinojosa, Urbano Hinojosa, Jr., Maria Hernandez, Ermila 'Millie Dowell, Alicia Padilla and Carmen Peña.
She is survived by: her children, Faith, Berta Ortiz (Jose) of Crystal City, Rosalva Mata of Fayetteville, AK, Giermina 'Minnie Mendez of Crystal City, TX, Angelica De Jesus (Reginaldo) of Diboll, TX, Lydia Mata of Grand Forks, ND, Carolina Jones (Patrick) of Minneapolis, MN, Sylvia Wolf of Grand Forks, ND, Jesus Mata III (Julie) of Franklin, IL, Adalia Sanchez (Robert) of Crystal City, TX, Juan Mata (Maggie) of Mekinock, ND, Roberto Mata (Anabelia) of Crystal City, TX, Elsa Mata (Julie) of Grand Forks, ND and Armando Mata of Mekinock, ND; and her sisters, Gloria Atchison of Lytle, TX and Olga Lopez of La Coste. She is also survived by 57 grandchildren; 108 great-grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren.
