She was predeceased by: her parents, William Carl and Stella Warren Martin; her former husband Odell Eaton; her husband Lawrence Forbes; her siblings, Eddie Martin (Louise), Willie Martin (Christine), Ivin Martin, Anson Martin, Lillian Yates (James) and Geneva Thompson (IJ); and her grandson Stephen Anthony Moore.

She is survived by: her children, Janey Eaton and Carter Forbes (Mandy); her brother Kenneth Martin (Barbara); her sisters-in-law, Dorthy Martin and Beth Martin; and her grandchildren, Stacey Marples (Mike), Ashton Moore, Kristy Woutzke (Cyle), Megan Culwell and Kaleb Forbes. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
