She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Elder and Alleta Elder (Jenkins); and her siblings, Frankie Elder, Billy Elder and Emylene Brown.

She is survived by: her children, Ricky Hinsley, Marlene of Pinetop Lakeside, Randy Hinsley and Sara; her grandchildren, Traci Luebke, Jake, Cameron, Amy Foster, Madison Hinsley, Makenzie Hinsley, Makayla Hinsley, Robert Hinsley, Caylon Hinsley, Kylie Hinsley, Haylie Hinsley, Lilly Hinsley, Tyler Hinsley and Keithen Hinsley; and her brother Tommy Elder of Quanah. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
