It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edith Alma Howard of Crowell, Texas, who passed away on June 7, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas William Lewis and Margie May Lewis (Porter); her husband Dillard Howard; her children, Edward Howard and Rheta Howard Brown; and her sisters, Gladys Crosnoe, Nancy Stone, Thelma Henry and Beatrice Rader.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Howard Hays of Seymour, Gerald Howard (Judy) of Bonham, Judy Howard Cates (Ivan) of Amarillo and Rhonda Howard Whitley (Lee Jay) of Wichita Falls. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to Seymour Rehab and Healthcare, First Baptist Church of Crowell, or Crowell Cemetery Association.
